Reflection in Time

Họa Gươm

Hoạ Gươm was a art exhibition that reimagined the stories of women across time and culture. Curated for students and young audiences, the show brought together paintings, photographs, and historical artifacts into a dialogue between the tangible and the spiritual. I co-curated its narrative and spatial design, leading a team through months of research and collaboration under the academic guidance of professors from the Faculty of History, Vietnam National University.

Through more than a hundred curated objects and paintings the exhibition traced the evolving identities of women from antiquity to the present. Each display became a meditation on resilience, beauty, and transformation. Hosted at AquaArt Center, one of Hanoi’s most prominent art spaces, Hoạ Gươm welcomed over five hundred visitors, inviting them to see not just the image of women in history, but the echo of their spirit in every form of art.
