Where colors begin.

Art is not what I see, but what I make others see.

Every color tells a story -

and mine began in Hanoi.

Between the hum of city streets and the quiet rhythm of old temples, I discovered the poetry of light and shadow. I used to sit by the window with a pencil in hand, tracing the shapes of rooftops and rain, wondering how something so simple could feel infinite.

Over time, I realized that art isn’t about perfection - it’s about presence. It’s about capturing the moment when emotion meets memory, when tradition meets imagination. My first drawings were whispers of curiosity; my later ones became dialogues with history. And somewhere in between, I found my voice - one shaped by Vietnamese culture yet searching for its own horizon.

This website is where those colors converge - the beginning of a journey through exhibitions, projects, and reflections that define who I am as an artist.

To me, colors are not merely pigments; they are echoes of the people, stories, and places that have touched my life. The red of the lacquer temples, the deep blue of night markets, the gentle yellow of dawn - all find their way into my canvas. Through art, I don’t just paint what I see. I paint what I remember, what I question, and what I hope will endure.
